Days like today make feel this way...when the biosphere seems to have been designed to make u happy...rain, smell of earth wafting around, crisp air, the buzz of some insect in the distance, mildly cool temperature, Dire Straits - Romeo and Juliet( live version) playing softly in the background... and no work (errr...almost!).
I remember the time i had gone to Bhopal in the beginning of class 10 summer vacations. Nice and small town...quite a few lakes...plus there's some altitude difference between some parts and others so that when u r driving by at night and look down...its delightful seeing all those lights shimmering below. That was the first time i experienced the smell of the ground after a rain. It was awesome...something i cherished even after i had left that place.
I love small towns actually...nice quiet places, lots of scooties, clean evnironment, no pushin and shovin when u r walkin in the market place. Bhopu had an added cherry on top...Top 'n Town...its the ice cream parlor company there...and they make sexy cola-shooters. If u ever happen to go there...do get hold of one of these!!
Tonite's the first day of the summer break...and two bad experiences in lunch and dinner. Went to Sahara for lunch, saw Teem after a long time and decided to have one. Damnit!! The company has changed Teem from a 7up type drink to a soda!!
Last time i had Teem was in class 6. Had gone to Victoria Memorial with my masi and co. along with another family in her apartment complex. While coming back...the rest of the ppl were having the famous muri of SBI, Alipore while i and another girl from the other family decided to have a Teem!! Dont remember anything abt her...except that she was sweet and pretty...and we talked for a nice 20-30 mins before someone came looking for us!! Given my monumental shyness wrt girls, i bet we were talkin abt nothin more un-academic than the third battle of Panipat between someone and someone else!!
Coming back ...( boy! i keep wandering into my past!!)...dinner was a spectacular strategic blunder!! Decided to go to sup dup out of my immense love of the veg rolls there. The rapid action service took a meagre 1 hour and 7 minutes to deliver my food!! That too after i had set camp infront of their counter for the last 15 mins!! Whats worse...Chaks' status message says he is already feeling hungry!!
PS: today is Sid's bday...HAPPY BDAY SWEETHEART :-*

and wrt to teem i dont remember teem. the oldest cd which i remeber is double 77 .

kyon jhooth bolta hai...tere jaisa paidayashi kameena ...n all u talked abt with tht "sweet and pretty" girl was the battle of panipat??...BULLSHIT...and i wonder if u can talk for 20-30 mins with a "monumental shyness" prob, wht wud u do once u overcome this...talk for aeons??...but i guess we're already seeing the signs...aren't we..??
