Blog 901: The trouble with waking up...

Bhaktjanooooo... kaise ho saalon...
...kaise ho saalon baad mile hain [:P]

Baat kuch aisi hai... after aeons and aeons of waking up on weekends just in time to wish ppl 'happy noon', today I woke up at 8.30 am *applause*

Now that kinda put me under obligation to have breakfast... hence... I went... felt nostalgic seeing how the mess looked in the morning... those chairs... those tables... that chai... that food... ah! My heart welled up... throat choked... a tear splashed on that very mess floor... and...

Okay... blah... senti kaata... [:D]

Now what happens on a usual weekday is: suppose classes are to start at 8.30... I sincerely set my alarm for 7.50 ( so that I'd snooze till 8!)... and then at 8... I innocently press snooze again and pull the blanket over my head... and repeat this activity every five minutes... (innocently, mind you)... until my alarm finally shows 8.25. [:D]

What... u calling me lazy or something?? How utterly ridiculous!! Ugh...Its just a plain and simple case of 'following ur heart'...

Bhaavnaao ko samjho... [:D]

Then what... I quickly change... put some toothpaste in my mouth... spray some deo... rinse mouth in the bathroom... pick up a biscuit packet from the mess... gulp down some tea... curse myself, my alarm, the mess and the rest of the world for making me gulp down hot tea... and run to class...

Cool na...[:D]

Then its simple... while class goes on... we follow the policy of eat and let eat. Hence, we furtively... stealthily... grab some biscuits while the prof's back is towards us...

...and eat the rest while he's facing us. [:D]

Yeah ok that doesnt happen... but wtf... this is MY blog. [:P]

Now I consider it atrociously unconstitutional that a person be made to wake at 7 am or 8 am on winter mornings. Why do you think did nature make the combination of winter mornings and warm blankets ? Its simple... its an omen... and we've all read the Alchemist, right?

Then of course, a person is supposed to invest one-third of his life on sleep. Do you wanna rob yourself of ur LIFE TIME INVESTMENTS by waking urself up at all dumb hours like early mornings?? Cmon... get some business sense...

And now, to conclude my theory on the importance of sleep on weekends... I'd like to present three very pertinent quotes ...

1) "Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless"
hence you can use sleep during weekends to make them count...

2) "Well begun is half done"
hence... begin ur weekend properly by sleeping well...

3) "Begin at the beginning and go on till you reach the end. Then stop."
Need I say more...[:D]

Adios... [:)]
